Loan Officer Assistant (LOA)Method Mortgage is growing, and we're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to support our top-producing loan officers. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys working directly with clients, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience from application to closing.What You'll DoSupport one to two high-volume loan officers with day-to-day operationsManage loan files from application to closingServe as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and outstanding customer service throughout the loan processCollect, review, and organize borrower documentationCoordinate with real estate agents, attorneys, title companies, insurance agents, underwriters, and internal teams to keep transactions on trackEnsure accuracy and completeness of files before submissionTrack deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding itemsWork with numbers daily — reviewing income documentation, calculating figures, and verifying accuracyComplete the mortgage loan originator (MLO) licensing process to handle tasks that require licensureWhat We're Looking ForStrong customer service skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with peopleAbility to thrive in a high-pressure environment with constant deadlinesSpeed, accuracy, and exceptional attention to detailComfort and confidence working with numbersStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple files at onceClear and professional written and verbal communicationA proactive, team-first mindsetMortgage or real estate experience is a plus, but not requiredMLO LicensingWithin 90 days of hire, you'll begin the process of obtaining your mortgage loan originator (MLO) license through the NMLS. Method Mortgage covers all course, exam, and licensing fees, and provides paid study time.
