Midtown is looking for a Lifeguard to watch over our pools and ensure the safety of our aquatics areas. They Encourage Active, Social, And Healthier Lives ByExplaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure safety of patronsMaintaining order in swimming areasResponding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowningMaintaining cleanliness of aquatics areas to promote an enjoyable experienceEnforcing the pool rules to ensure a safe and clean environmentLifeguard RequirementsCustomer service oriented, with great interpersonal skillsAre strong swimmers trained and certified in water rescuePossess nationally recognized certifications in aquatics including: Lifeguarding, Pro CPR/AED, First AidRed Cross Certification, preferredPossess ability to provide multisensory instruction: auditory, visual, tactile, kinestheticThis job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
