We're looking for a motivated, mid-to-senior-level developer with a strong background in Java and Linux, and experience delivering scalable services in an AWS environment.\nYou will excel in this role if:\nYou thrive in a collaborative environment and can take ownership of complex technical problems\nYou bring strong communication skills and can clearly articulate ideas through briefings, documentation, and system diagrams\nYou are comfortable working with byte-level data and multi-threaded service development\nYou can support full-stack development and deployment efforts from service layer to front-end interfaces\nA day in the life:\nDesign, develop, and deploy modular software components used across applications\nImplement services that handle multi-threaded web requests and manipulate byte-level data\nContribute to junior/mid-level front-end development in React and TypeScript/Node.js\nOperate within a Linux-based AWS environment, delivering and supporting production systems\nCollaborate with other engineers to troubleshoot, document, and brief on technical issues and solutions\nMust Have:\nTS/SCI with polygraph clearance\nA Bachelor's degree in a related field\n7+ years of software engineering experience\nProficient in Java development\nExperience with services design and development\nByte-level code manipulation and multi-threaded request handling\nWorking knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript (junior)\nReact development experience (junior to mid-level)\nStrong background in Linux environments\nExperience deploying applications in AWS\nAbility to produce and understand system architecture diagrams and technical documentation\nSolid communication skills (written and oral)\nNice to Have:\nPython development experience (junior)\nWeb traffic analysis (mid-level)\nFamiliarity with DevOps pipelines (junior to mid-level)\nExperience with Kubernetes\nBackground in signal processing of audio/video content (senior)\nUnderstanding of multimedia file/streaming formats and compression\nKnowledge of SIGINT data flows\nClearEdge is an established small business that values its employees and is committed to providing an environment where individuals can succeed and grow.
