This position supports the fleet of USMC MQ-9A aircraft, including systems at domestic and overseas sites. This engineer provides hands-on technical support for fleet training exercises, and maintenance and troubleshooting efforts. This engineer also provides technical reach back support to the customer, interfacing with GA-ASI and customer functional engineering teams as needed.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nRepresents GA-ASI at customer training events, will be the primary focal point for real time technical support, to ensure mission readiness of GA aircraft systems\nManages sustainment of deployed aircraft and ground systems, leading on-site maintenance and troubleshooting activities\nSupports information requests from partners, including customer engineering and executive leadership\nContributes to technical trade studies that feed into long range planning of system configuration, and technology roadmap\nInterfaces with GA functional engineering teams in support of technical investigations\nProduces engineering estimates to support new business creation activities\nResponsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company\nExpected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\nJob Qualifications\nTypically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; four or more years of experience with a bachelors degree or two or more years of experience with a masters degree.
