The principals have demanding professional lives, travel frequently, and maintain an active, health-oriented lifestyle. The household includes two elementary school-aged children and two large, friendly dogs who are very much part of the family.This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in making life easier for a fast-moving family. The ideal candidate is kind, organized, discreet, resourceful, service-oriented, and comfortable creating order without adding unnecessary noise. They should be polished and professional, but also warm, approachable, adaptable, and willing to jump in wherever needed. A growth mindset is essential — this person should be curious, open to feedback, eager to learn new tools and systems, and excited by the opportunity to grow alongside the family as their needs evolve.The right person must love dogs, be comfortable around children, work well with other household staff, and feel confident coordinating with dog walkers, housekeepers, contractors, gardeners, vendors, and service providers. They should also be tech-savvy, highly comfortable with Google Suite, and excited to learn and use new tools, including AI products, household management platforms, shared calendars, task systems, and other digital workflows.This role has meaningful growth potential for someone who excels, including the possibility of growing into an Estate Manager role or broader household operations leadership over time.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the principals with day-to-day personal and family logistics, including errands, pickups, returns, appointments, reminders, and household runsEnsure the kitchen, pantry, inventory, children's items, pet supplies, household supplies, and daily essentials are stocked, organized, and readyAssist with family scheduling, school logistics, children's activities, events, gifting, birthdays, holidays, thank-you notes, and special occasionsStep in to support elementary school-aged children as needed, particularly when the nanny needs extra help or coverageHelp maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming household environmentTrack where key household items live and help maintain simple, intuitive systems so the home runs smoothlyAssist with household checklists, recurring tasks, daily readiness standards, and proactive follow-through on open itemsSchedule and coordinate household vendors, service providers, deliveries, repairs, appointments, and follow-upsGreet vendors and visitors professionally, offer water, show them where the restroom is, and help create a warm and thoughtful experience in the homeHandle grocery runs, pharmacy pickups, dry cleaning, shipping, returns, bakery/snack pickups for visitors, flowers, and other personal or household errandsResearch and coordinate restaurants, travel details, wellness appointments, family activities, and lifestyle needsCoordinate with dog walkers, groomers, veterinarians, and pet-related service providersTrack pet food, supplies, medications, appointments, feeding routines, and schedulesCommunicate clearly, warmly, and professionally with the principals, staff, vendors, guests, and service providersProvide concise updates on completed tasks, open items, and anything requiring attentionUse sound judgment and discretion at all timesManage and maintain the household calendar for dog walking, housekeeping, nanny coverage, deliveries, vendor visits, appointments, and other recurring household activities to ensure the home runs smoothly and all support functions are coordinatedQualificationsPrior experience as a Personal Assistant, Family Assistant, Household Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar support roleExperience supporting busy families, executives, founders, or high-touch private households preferredProficient with Google Suite, including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and DriveComfortable using shared calendars, task lists, spreadsheets, household apps, and new digital workflowsAvid user of AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, research, organization, and communicationAble and willing to wear many hats in a dynamic household environmentHighly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and excellent at follow-throughEnjoys creating calm, order, and clarity in an active, fast-moving homeWarm, kind, polished, service-minded, discreet, and hands-onHas a strong can-do attitude and is happy to jump in wherever neededExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEnjoys drafting polished executive communications, household updates, vendor messages, and written summariesStrong judgment, discretion, emotional intelligence, and professionalismComfortable supporting children, family logistics, large dogs, household staff, vendors, and guestsLoves dogs and is comfortable around large dogsComfortable stepping in to support elementary school-aged children when the nanny needs extra help or coverageWorks well with other household staff and can professionally coordinate dog walkers, housekeepers, contractors, gardeners, vendors, service providers, and other household support teamsGreat at greeting guests, vendors, and visitors and making people feel welcomed and cared forExcited to learn and adopt new tools and systemsFlexible, resourceful, reliable, and comfortable with ambiguityDetail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger pictureValid driver's license and excellent driving record required
