Ensure that security requirements established by the USG and/or tenants are met and maintained. Maintain positive communication and exceptional follow-up with building tenants, vendors, contractors, and internal contacts.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n\nLead special projects as requested by CDP management.\n\nProvide work direction to technical staff responsible for completing special requests and projects.\n\nProvide work direction to technicians and subcontractors providing maintenance or repair services to ensure that work is completed as directed and within quality parameters.\n\nEnsure job safety standards are maintained at all times in compliance with company policy and government regulations.\n\nMust be able to read trade related electrical, mechanical, and plumbing drawings and internal wiring schematics.\n\nMust be able to work on sensitive compartmented information facility construction standards that comply with ICD 705 requirements.\n\nMaintain contract files with all required documentation to support an audit.\n\n2. Energy + Sustainability Management -\n\nSet energy baseline and measure regularly for energy and cost savings, to include the research and installation of energy saving and monitoring devices\n\nParticipate in the development and administration of an energy dashboard for reporting.\n\nParticipate in energy audits and develop and conduct an audit process.\n\n3. Building Automation System (BAS) Management -\n\nOversee recommissioning of BAS systems and the BAS training platform.\n\n4. Budget Management -\n\nControl expenditures for services and supplies for daily operation within established budget guidelines.\n\nProvide operating and capital expenditure recommendations to the property management team.\n\nMaintain appropriate paperwork for billing purposes.\n\nSECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nProvide notification to management concerning issues.\n\nMaintain all tools, parts, and supplies in an organized manner.\n\nPerform other job‑related duties as assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n\nEducation - High school diploma or equivalent with additional vocational coursework in one or more of the following disciplines: HVAC, electricity, plumbing or other relevant areas.\n\nFurther Training -\n\nUniversal CFC certified.\n\nState Certified Journeyman’s or Stationary Engineer license or equivalent.\n\nState Certified Master’s license or equivalent is preferred.\n\nProfessional Experience - Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience working as a senior service technician or project engineer with at least five to ten years of experience providing work direction to others.\n\nComputer Skills -\n\nPC proficiency to include (to include but not limited to) Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and ability to learn company specific software.\n\nAbility to adapt to new or changing software programs.\n\nMobility - N/A\n\nOther Requirements -\n\nAbility to routinely perform on call and off hour duty including evenings, weekends, and holidays and to respond to emergency situations on a 24‑hour on‑call basis or to complete special projects.\n\nStrong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, mechanical and electrical) including how to troubleshoot, maintain and control.\n\nWorking knowledge of energy management systems.\n\nMust possess a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.\n\nAbility to work with minimal supervision while diagnosing and resolving building systems issues.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\n\nStrong organizational skills and time management.\n\nStrong customer service focus and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants, vendors, and staff.\n\nPay Range: $70,000 - $140,000\n\nCDP proudly offers to all employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week market‑leading health benefits including medical, dental, vision and prescription, etc.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
