This position will focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and control system issues. Experience with Allen-Bradley or similar platforms is highly desirable. This is an immediate need, and candidates who are available to start quickly are encouraged to apply.\n\nLocation: Onsite in Oak Ridge, TN\nSalary: Depending on Experience\n\nResponsibilities\nTroubleshoot and diagnose control system and manufacturing equipment issues.\nProvide hands-on technical support to identify and resolve equipment failures.\nTroubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, control panels, sensors, instrumentation, motor controls, and related equipment.\nReview and modify PLC programming and control logic as needed.\nSupport equipment startup, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.\nReview electrical and controls drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.\nWork with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and operations personnel to resolve equipment issues.\nDocument system modifications and technical resolutions.\n\nQualifications\nActive Q Clearance required.\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.\nHands-on experience troubleshooting industrial controls and manufacturing equipment.\nExperience with PLC-based control systems.\nExperience with Allen-Bradley or similar platforms is highly desirable.\nKnowledge of HMIs, instrumentation, sensors, motor controls, and industrial communications.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nBenefits:\nAll eligible employees enjoy an excellent benefits package, including medical/dental/vision insurance, short/long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off including holidays, and tuition reimbursement.\nEEO Statement:\nMSTI is an equal-opportunity employer.
