We are seeking an experienced Program Manager in Ogden, Utah and surrounding areas. The Program Manager maintains a high-quality program to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This person is responsible for supporting the team with day-to-day operations and challenges to achieve programmatic goals. ResponsibilitiesLead and train the team to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesManage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognitionManage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffedRecommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performedAssist with the development of current and future programs including residential supports, personalized supports, supported employment, and person-centered planningMonitor and maintain the budgetPrepare required statistical, financial, and service reports as neededDevelop and update Individual Support Plans (ISP)/Person-Centered Plans (PCP) with an interdisciplinary team to include any concerns, observations, and behavioral developmentsEnsure individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior managementEnsure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timelyMonitor the finances of individuals ensuring purchases are approved and accounted for with documentationMonitor the health and medical needs of individuals and immediately report any concernsManage relationships with the families and guardians of the individuals in our careEnsure work locations and vehicles are well maintainedMay conduct programmatic investigationsEmployees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED with three years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree preferredMust have minimum two years experience with IDDMust have minimum two years managerial experienceValid driver's license with a satisfactory driving recordComplete all state and agency required training per state guidelinesTeam oriented with demonstrated leadership experienceExperience with problem solving against multiple prioritiesAbility to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supportsAbility to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situationsWorking ConditionsMay be required to be on-call in cooperation with other management staffFrequent lifting, stretching, and other physical exertion may be requiredMay be required to transport individuals utilizing your own vehicle or company provided vehiclesMay be required to lift or move 25+ poundsMay assist with wheelchair transfer of non-ambulatory individualsMay be exposed to various medical conditions and communicable diseasesWhy Community Options?Competitive Insurance Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)Paid Holidays—Including a Birthday HolidayGenerous PTOEmployee Incentive & Discount Programs403b Retirement PlanIncredible career growth opportunities Send Resumes to: Resumes-Utah@comop.org Community Options is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
