SharkNinja is seeking a North America Commercial Planning leader to serve as the connective tissue across our commercial planning ecosystem. The Commercial Planning individual will synthesize demand signals across retailers, channels, and categories into a clear, pressure-tested gross sales outlook — and translate those insights into action.Key ResponsibilitiesForecast Integrity & Performance OwnershipOwn the total NA gross sales forecast by synthesizing and pressure-testing inputs across account and category teams into a coherent, reliable outlookDrive regular trend vs. forecast reviews, incorporating sell-through dynamics, retailer inventory health, forecast accuracy, revenue pacing, and new product performanceBuild and maintain constrained vs. unconstrained demand scenarios, monthly phasing, and financial hedges for NPD launches and supply riskIdentify demand risks and opportunities — including cross-retailer dynamics — and partner with stakeholders to recommend and drive corrective actionCross-Functional Partnership & InfluenceServe as a strategic partner to Sales, SS&A, Supply Planning, Finance, and Product Development to gather inputs, align assumptions, and drive accountability in the forecastOwn the demand review process with Supply Planning, ensuring cross-functional alignment before new demand signals are actioned downstreamProactively bring insights and risks to the right stakeholders — not after the fact, but early enough to change the outcomeSupport the preparation and delivery of monthly commercial planning reviews and IBP consensus planningInsights, Analytics & AI-Enabled WorkflowsTranslate data into clear, business-relevant narratives that drive decision-making across commercial, supply, and finance leadershipLeverage AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, automate recurring outputs, and surface insights that would be difficult to reach through traditional approachesSupport scenario planning and what-if analysis as commercial priorities shiftProcess & Tool EvolutionBuild, refine, and adapt planning processes and reporting frameworks as the team and business evolveStay curious about new planning technologies — including AI and automation — and bring forward practical applications that raise team capabilityHelp establish and track planning KPIs including forecast accuracy, bias, attainment, and inventory healthAttributes & SkillsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, or related fieldExperience in S&OP, demand planning, or commercial analytics in a consumer goods or retail environment; title will reflect level of experienceBackground in cross-functional program or project management, with demonstrated experience driving alignment and decisions across commercial, supply, and finance teamsStrong forecasting fundamentals: baseline demand, promotional lift, NPD ramp, WOS/POS dynamics, and constrained vs. unconstrained bridgingDemonstrated ability to turn data into a clear point of view and influence action across a cross-functional team — without relying on authorityComfort with data and BI tools; experience with AI-powered analytics is a strong plus, and an eagerness to adopt and build fluency with AI tools quickly is essentialExceptional communicator — able to translate complex analysis into concise narratives for senior stakeholdersHighly adaptable — thrives when the role, tools, and expectations are shifting, and brings structure and clarity rather than waiting for itProactive mindset and strong follow-through — you identify the insight and you track it through to actionCollaborative, curious, and energized by being the person who connects the dots that others missSalary and Other Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $128,300 — $196,700 USD.
