The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with high-value hardware in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\nSystem Assembly & Configuration\n\nAssemble and configure server and storage systems according to BOMs, build instructions, and engineering documentation.\n\nInstall SSDs, NICs, expansion cards, and other customer-specified hardware components.\n\nVerify part numbers, system configurations, and component placement to ensure build accuracy.\n\nApply required labels, serial numbers, and asset tags.\n\nPerform system reassembly and ensure all components are properly secured.\n\nInventory Control & Traceability\n\nMaintain accurate records of serialized components and system configurations.\n\nScan and document inventory transactions using internal inventory management systems.\n\nEnsure complete traceability of components throughout the assembly process.\n\nReport inventory discrepancies, shortages, damaged materials, or quality concerns promptly.\n\nQuality & Process Compliance\n\nInspect hardware components for defects or damage prior to installation.\n\nVerify completed systems meet configuration, quality, and workmanship standards before release to testing.\n\nFollow established ESD, quality, security, and manufacturing procedures.\n\nIdentify and elevate build issues, documentation discrepancies, or process concerns.\n\nSafely move systems and materials throughout the production process.\n\nPrepare completed units for testing and subsequent production stages.\n\nMaintain an organized and efficient work area.\n\nSupport production objectives while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.\n\nRequirements\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n\n1+ years of experience in computer assembly, electronics manufacturing, system integration, production, or a related technical environment.\n\nExperience working with computer hardware and electronic components.\n\nAbility to read and follow assembly instructions, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.\n\nBasic computer skills, including data entry and inventory tracking.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\n\nNice to Have\n\nExperience building or configuring servers, storage systems, networking equipment, or other enterprise hardware.\n\nFamiliarity with SSDs, networking components, and computer hardware installation.\n\nExperience in a manufacturing, production, or ESD-controlled environment.\n\nExperience using ERP, MES, warehouse management, or inventory tracking systems.\n\nFamiliarity with serialized inventory tracking and asset management processes.\n\nCOMPENSATION:\n\nThe base salary range for this position is $64,000 to $73,000; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.\n\nBENEFITS OVERVIEW:\n\nWe offer a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D coverage, short- and long-term disability, a 401(k) retirement plan, annual discretionary salary increases and bonuses.
