Key Account Manager / Flexible Packaging (Remote)

Are you ready to drive growth and build strategic relationships in a dynamic business environment?About The RoleThis position is the primary contact for designated accounts within a specific territory, focusing on sales growth and profitability. You will collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic business and marketing plans, aiming to enhance the company's market share.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver sales goals, ensuring profitable year-over-year growth for the assigned territory.Utilize knowledge of the company, products, and competitive market to achieve business objectives.Expand business with existing and new accounts through prospecting and networking.Manage account complexities and communicate customer needs to internal stakeholders.Lead key business negotiations with support from internal stakeholders.Strengthen customer relationships to facilitate proactive conversations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercialization and onboarding processes.Build an external network with industry influencers and collaborators.Coordinate with Sales Management, R&D, Marketing, and Field Service for validation and customer trials.Manage accounts receivable with assistance from the credit department.Work with Strategic Marketing to address unmet customer needs.Contribute to monthly management reporting on sales and marketing performance.Drive forecast accuracy for improved business outcomes.Manage Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in CRM.QualificationsBachelor's Degree.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a large-scale business-to-business environment.7 years relevant experience in technical, sales, and general management, preferably within the packaging industry.Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability.Experience with negotiations and contract execution.Work EnvironmentThis is a remote position.Ability to travel domestically/regionally 60% of the time.At Talent Wave Associates, we connect outstanding talent with exceptional opportunities.
