We are looking for a Group Lead on 2nd shift to lead and support the daily operations of the Extrusion and Twister departments by ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This position is responsible for coordinating shift activities, maintaining process standards, supporting changeovers and machine operation, training team members, and promoting clear communication to ensure consistent production flow.\r\nThis position pays $19$23 per hour, depending on experience, and is also eligible for an annual bonus based on both company performance and individual performance. Training will be in first shift, upon successful completion of training position will be transferred to 2nd shift. 2nd shift hours are 2pm - 10:30pm.\r\nECHO's benefits include:\r\n11 paid holidays\r\nExtremely affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance\r\nPaid PTO (Paid Time Off)\r\n5% 401K match\r\nYearly bonus potential\r\nTuition reimbursement\r\nCareer advancement growth opportunities\r\nDuties/Responsibilities:\r\nSupervise the day-to-day operations of the Extrusion and Twister departments.\r\nCoordinate with the Extrusion Manager on changeovers, process adjustments, safety, and housekeeping requirements.\r\nCommunicate with team members and manager to ensure smooth production flow.\r\nMaintain accurate daily production reports and work orders.\r\nPerform machine changeovers, including changing and building dies.\r\nEnsure Extrusion and Twister machines operate according to process standards and produce quality products.\r\nStart up and shut down machines following established procedures.\r\nBlend resin according to documented procedures.\r\nPackage finished goods in compliance with required procedures.\r\nPerform quality assurance checks and process verification checks.\r\nAssist with training and onboarding of new operators.\r\nProvide coverage for employees' meal and breaks.\r\nAssist with sub-assembly operations as needed.\r\nFollow all safety policies and company procedures.\r\nMust be able to work all shifts, including overtime as needed\r\nEnsure the building is secured and alarm systems are properly activated or deactivated at the end of the shift, as required.\r\nQualifications:\r\nExperience in extrusion and/or twister manufacturing operations preferred\r\nPrior lead or supervisory experience in a production environment required\r\nStrong understanding of machine processes\r\nCapable of maneuvering and lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently\r\nStanding and walking for long periods of time\r\nAbility to often stoop, kneel or crouch.\r\nExperience working in a fast-paced environment.\r\nBasic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills\r\nKnowledge of common hand tool operation\r\nEqual Employment Opportunity\r\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
