Drive the effective execution of the annual operating plan (AOP) for the locations. The Operations Manager drives excellence in the company’s operations and develops managers and supervisors who lead day-to-day operational departments staffed by hourly employees. These departments are manufacturing, service/repair and logistics. The Operations Manager is a key member of the company’s leadership team, taking responsibility for delivering results to support overall goals while supporting all aspects of the Company’s overall activities.Contributes to a positive working culture, builds strong relationships, and lives out the values of integrity, collaboration, and accountability.\r\nESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Sets strategic direction for the operational area of the Company.\r\nDevelops and implements programs, projects and changes that drive long term, measurable improvement in the operational performance of the company.\r\nDay to day operations management including planning, execution, scheduling, housekeeping, maintenance, safety, and process improvements.\r\nProvides direction and leadership for all aspects of multiple operations departments.\r\nCoaches, councils and trains the department managers and supervisors to improve individual skills.\r\nDevelops and communicates benchmarks and metrics for measuring and improving operational performance.\r\nDevises and executes structural and personnel changes needed to ensure success.\r\nIs a key driver in the company’s management team contributing to long-term Company excellence.\r\nCoordinates closely with other senior leaders across the organization.\r\nAssists the General Manager in creating the annual company strategy and Operating Plan. Takes ownership of the Operations sections of both documents.\r\nCollaborates with other senior operations leaders across Corporate divisions and ensures that best practices are implemented and shared across locations.\r\nRecruit and hire team members to elevate talent. Focuses on mentoring, coaching, and developing associates internally; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance management; project budgets.\r\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.\r\nAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
