Typical equipment includes containment systems (gloveboxes and hot cells) and processing equipment that require environmental pressure controls, utilities, pneumatics, HVAC, and fluid systems.\nThis role is a Process Engineer position for an eventual new office location in Madison, WI where there will be regular direct contact with customers and vendors, design reviews, fabrication facility (located in Mauston, WI), and other engineering disciplines. The role is a hybrid schedule with an emphasis of in office in Madison, WI and occasional travel to Mauston, WI. Work from home remotely is approved for the right candidate though.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nReview and solve designs of custom capital equipment.\nWork within a multi-disciplinary environment (Mechanical, Structural, EI&C).\nDevelops Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).\nDevelops Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).\nEquipment sizing calculations.\nProcess line sizing calculations.\nPressure relief device sizing calculations.\nMass & Energy balances.\nChoosing in line valves, gauges, instruments, etc. for designs.\nDesign verification (review/check) engineering document submittals.\nAssist in interpreting client requirements of code/standard requirements to establish design criteria.\nOccasional travel expectation.\nEngineering support during fabrication phase of projects.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Skills, etc.):\nBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program.\n0 - 6 years of experience.\nFamiliar or assisted in developing P&ID’s.\nFamiliar or assisted in line sizes and valve sizing.\nFamiliar or assisted in designing layouts of piping and utilities for fabrication of custom capital equipment (i.e. HVAC, fluid loops, process utilities)\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nFamiliar with AFT Arrow (or similar).\nFamiliar of process systems within nuclear environments.\n· Local candidates to the Madison, WI region.\n· Experience in custom equipment fabrication process systems.\n· Familiar with designing fluid loops\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year\nBenefits:\n401(k)\n401(k) matching\nDental insurance\nFlexible schedule\nFlexible spending account\nHealth insurance\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nVision insurance\nApplication Question(s):\nSTRICT REQUIREMENT!!!
