This role ensures valve schedules and technical inputs are complete, accurate, and clearly documented before review by Application Consultants (ACs), enabling faster turnaround times, reduced rework, and improved technical consistency across the data center business. The role operates as a key interface between Sales and the Applications team, improving input quality and supporting efficient execution of data center opportunities. This position directly reports to the Lead Regional Application Consultant - Data Centers Americas.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform first-pass technical review of incoming data center quotes and requests to ensure required inputs are complete and accurate.\nNormalize and clean valve schedules for consistency, completeness, and alignment with Belimo standards.\nCorrect obvious product selection errors using established rules of thumb and standard data center application patterns.\nClearly document technical assumptions, corrections, and remaining open questions for Application Consultant review.\nPrepare review-ready technical packages that allow ACs to focus on judgment calls and risk, not rework.\nPerform takeoffs from drawings and assist with BOM preparation as required.\nApply a fix-and-flag approach when resolving issues, minimizing back-and-forth while maintaining technical clarity.\nProvide feedback to Sales and Inside Sales on recurring technical input issues to improve upstream quality.\nParticipate in Application Consultant team meetings and maintain a regular review cadence with the Lead Application Consultant.\nMaintain light CRM or intake tracker updates related to technical review status and documentation\nWho You Are\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field or equivalent technical experience.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and valve schedules.\nExperience working with technical documentation, BOMs, or quote review processes.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams).\nAbility to travel up to 50%\nPreferred:\nExperience in HVAC, hydronics, controls, or data center–related applications.\nPrior exposure to technical sales support, applications engineering, or project engineering environments.\nWho We Are\nAt Belimo, we take pride in making our company a rewarding place to work.
