Seeking licensed psychologist
We are seeking a highly skilled and mission‑driven Psychologist to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for veterans. This role focuses exclusively on evaluation not treatment and supports disability claims, service‑connected condition reviews, and functional capacity determinations. The ideal candidate demonstrates cultural competence with military populations and excels in trauma‑informed, evidence‑based assessment practices.
Required Qualifications
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
Active, unrestricted psychologist license
Experience conducting psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations
Strong report‑writing skills and ability to document findings with precision
Familiarity with veteran mental health concerns and military cultural competence
Responsibilities
Conduct structured psychological evaluations, including Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams
Administer and interpret standardized psychological tests and diagnostic interviews
Assess conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, TBI‑related cognitive concerns, and other service‑connected mental health conditions
Review medical records, service treatment records, and collateral documentation
Prepare clear, objective, and timely reports consistent with federal and organizational guideline.
Maintain neutrality and adhere to evaluation‑only protocols
Utilize trauma‑informed communication to ensure veterans feel respected and supported
Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to ensure efficient scheduling and documentation workflow
Experience
Prior experience conducting C&P exams or VA‑related evaluations
Knowledge of DBQs, DSM‑5‑TR criteria, and federal disability evaluation standards.
Experience assessing PTSD, TBI, and trauma‑related conditions
Pay: $100.00 - $200.00 per hour
