NightWing is seeking a Technical Editor/Writer to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities.\nResponsibilities:\nDeveloping, reviewing, and determining the correct delivery routing of technical communication deliverables including engineering design documentation, operational procedures, plans, action reports, standard operating procedures, and meeting minutes using pre-existing templates.\nCoordinating documentation demands and requirements directly with program development and operational subject matter experts.\nIndependently managing timelines of all deliveries across multiple task orders.\nManaging the adjudication of formal commentary and feedback on all technical documentation.\nMaintaining proper handling of all types of documentation, including correct migration practices, correctly engaging with multiple libraries and other identified document locations.\nSupporting other Technical Writers in both surge and peer-review work.\nRequired Skills:\nMust have an active Secret clearance\nMust be able to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.\nU.S. Citizenship\nMust be able to obtain DHS Suitability.\nExperience with creating and maintaining information system security documentation, processes and workflows, and SOPs.\n6+ years of technical writing experience developing deliverables including engineering documentation, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes for internal and external audiences.\nExpert level knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.\nExperience developing news articles, monthly newsletters, executive messages, advanced presentations and infographics.\nFluid technical writing and editing skills, including the use of AP Style.\nAbility to work under pressure with clients, program managers and subject matter experts in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment.\nDesired Experience:\nFamiliar with SAFe Agile terminology and processes.\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity communications language and subject matter.\nFamiliarity with ServiceNow and SharePoint.\nFamiliarity with JIRA.\nWell-versed in Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Pro.\nAdvanced PowerPoint presentations and infographics skills.\nRequired Education (including Major):\nBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.\nPreviously part of a leading Fortune 100 company and headquartered in Dulles, VA; Nightwing became independent in 2024 but continues to support the nation’s most mission impactful initiatives.\nWhen we formed Nightwing, we brought a deep set of credentials and an unfaltering commitment to the mission.
