Work with cross-functional teams to solve operational challenges and translate business requirements into application design and features while providing the organization with a platform for making data-driven decisions.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nDevelop, implement, and support custom software applications.\nManage an application through the entire software development lifecycle.\nWork cross-functionally with SME teams to develop processes and translate business requirements into application design and features.\nWork strategically to automate internal processes and solve operational challenges that drive business objectives through technology.\nFoster an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement by establishing feedback loops with internal customers and users.\nEnsure solutions are performant, scalable and follow best practices.\nThoroughly test and debug applications including managing the software validation process.\nWork with IT and others to promote technology within the organization and integrate with other systems as needed.\nContinue to develop and enhance knowledge and proficiency in applicable technologies and platforms. Remain up to date on industry trends and best practices.\nSimultaneously manage multiple priorities while supporting current applications.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nEducation and/or Experience\nBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 2-3 years of experience (depending on job-level), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAbility to read, write and speak English fluently.\nKnowledge of at least one programming language and related frameworks/libraries (JavaScript, Python, Ruby, .NET, etc.)\nExperience with software design and development.\nExperience with data-driven applications and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, FileMaker, etc.)\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nData-driven and curious, with a passion for problem solving and learning.\nDetail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task and establish priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.\nDesired\nExperience with modern web development tech stacks.\nExperience developing dashboards and other BI tools.\nExperience with ERP systems and ERP integrations.\nExperience with Microsoft based development environments (.Net, SQL Server).\nExperience with FileMaker Pro.\nExperience developing software in the manufacturing industry.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
