Strategic Sourcing Manager

Position Summary: The Strategic Sourcing Manager is a highly visible position that will develop, coordinate, and manage sourcing plans that will create maximum benefits for the business. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will identify and implement significant cost reduction strategies; while improving quality, delivery and service from our supply base.Position Requirements:Drive cost-focused strategy for assigned sites and commodities across the businessResponsible for sourcing strategy, supply market analysis, supplier capability assessment, supplier recruitment and management, RFQ/P development, analysis of complex data, and managing projects across multiple sitesParticipates in assessment and prioritization of strategic sourcing opportunities to achieve business objectivesLead cross functional product development activities with key suppliers.Supports performance tracking activities including sourcing savings, contract compliance and other measuresEnsure price controllership via PPV reporting and contract managementOther Ad hoc duties as assigned by managerPosition Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.A minimum of 5 years strategic purchasing experience or equivalent.Proven success in meeting aggressive cost reduction, supplier negotiation and productivity targets.Advanced analytical abilities and problem-solving techniques in understanding data collection and the ability to develop intuitive and actionable insightsThorough knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ERP systemsTravel up to 25%, some international travel.Must be able to maintain a valid passport.Preferred:Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.MBA PreferredCPSM and/or APICS certified
