PDQ focuses on long-term customer relationships, operational execution, and clear communication across teams and partners, including overseas offices.Role SummaryThe Senior Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing an established customer base while developing new business within the local market. This role owns the full sales cycle from quoting through execution, working closely with internal operations and overseas partners to ensure smooth delivery and strong customer satisfaction.This is a hands-on, hybrid role suited for someone who understands freight forwarding operations, pricing, and customer communication and is comfortable managing accounts cradle to grave.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow an existing book of business while identifying new sales opportunitiesOwn the full sales cycle including quoting, negotiating rates, and closing businessCommunicate freight solutions clearly to customers across air and ocean servicesCoordinate with internal operations and inside support teams to ensure successful executionWork with overseas offices, including partners in China, as neededMaintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in CRM systemsConduct market research and stay informed on pricing, capacity, and industry trendsRepresent the company at local trade shows and industry eventsTravel locally on a daily basis to meet customers and prospectsRequired Experience and QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in sales within transportation, logistics, supply chain, or freight forwardingStrong understanding of freight forwarding operations, including air and ocean servicesExperience managing customer relationships and negotiating pricing and service termsAbility to communicate cost structures and logistics solutions clearly to customersProfessional, polished presence with strong interpersonal skillsProficient with Microsoft Office applications and CRM toolsStrong organizational skills with the ability to work independently on-siteBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferredAdditional RequirementsAuthorized to work in the United States with no need for visa sponsorshipValid driver's licenseWilling to accept a background check and drug testMinimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft applicationsWillingness to travel locally for customer meetings and trade showsGas reimbursement available with a monthly cap of $300No international travel currently required, though it may be added in the futureAdditional Job Application TermsThis job is part of LinkedIn's Full-Service Hiring beta program.
