Strong technical fundamentals, problem-solving ability, curiosity, and willingness to learn are more important than years of experience.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Help redesign and improve the company website.\n* Develop and maintain web-based applications.\n* Help design and build a secure customer portal where borrowers can access approved loan information.\n* Work with databases and business data.\n* Work alongside the developer of our existing Microsoft Access-based loan administration system.\n* Learn the structure and functionality of the existing loan system and assist with future enhancements.\n* Create and modify queries, reports, forms, and application functionality as needed.\n* Identify opportunities to automate or improve internal business processes.\n* Test and troubleshoot applications and system changes.\n* Maintain clear documentation of applications, processes, and system changes.\n* Follow appropriate practices for protecting confidential company and customer information.\n* Work with employees, management, IT personnel, and outside technology vendors as needed.\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical education and experience.\n* Recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.\n* Basic programming and software development knowledge.\n* Understanding of relational databases.\n* Familiarity with SQL or database queries.\n* Exposure to web development technologies.\n* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n* Ability to learn existing software and unfamiliar technologies.\n* Good communication skills.\n* Strong attention to detail.\n\nProfessional programming experience is not required.
