Working closely with the managing consultant, project plans are designed and implemented with a high degree of quality and with excellent communication to all stakeholders. From installing new hosts and storage, implementing Intune across various platforms, all the way to migrating on-premise infrastructure to Azure/AWS, the Systems Engineer provides a vital function in support of the excellent service provided to our clients.\nTo be considered for this role, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Our clients expect a high level of service and professionalism, and our employees ensure that they receive it while managing realistic expectations.\nResponsibilities\nDeploy complex solutions involving a variety of technologies, including VMware, Windows Server, Linux, Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 technologies (Entra, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune, etc).\nOwn the technical implementation of complex solutions across on-premise and cloud environments, from initial design through production deployment.\nManage, maintain, and upgrade existing on-premise and cloud environments.\nAutomate existing manual procedures to increase efficiency.\nRegularly communicate project status to client contacts and managers.\nWork with internal resources to understand client business processes and goals and recommend technology solutions to improve those processes or achieve those goals.\nRequirements\nMinimum 4 years as a system administrator/engineer, cloud administrator/engineer or equivalent role.\nStrong knowledge in Microsoft Windows server environments, including configuration and administration of Active Directory and Group Policy.\nStrong knowledge in Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, including configuration and administration.\nStrong knowledge in Microsoft 365 technologies (Exchange Online, Conditional Access, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)\nModerate knowledge in Linux, including configuration and administration.\nStrong knowledge in scripting and automation, including Powershell and Python.\nModerate knowledge of server and storage hardware.\nBasic networking knowledge – DNS, DHCP, VLANs\nStrong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to interface professionally with clients.\nAbility to see problems through to resolution and communicate progress and results to clients and management.\nPhysically capable of picking up and moving computer hardware up to 50 lbs.\nHybrid role with remote work days.
