This is a highly hands-on engineering opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, building, testing, and improving real-world hardware in a fast-paced R&D environment.This role is ideal for an engineer who naturally takes things apart, figures out how they work, and enjoys solving technical problems across electronics, testing, and lab systems.What You'll Be DoingOwn and maintain the acoustic testing lab environmentPerform acoustic testing on ultrasound transducers and related systemsTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and acoustic-related issuesImprove and automate testing methods using MATLAB and/or PythonWork with oscilloscopes, PCB schematics, lab instrumentation, and test equipmentBuild custom test fixtures and support prototyping efforts, including 3D printing/CAD workCreate test procedures, reports, and technical documentationCollaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and project managers to support product development and productionWhat They're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field1–3 years of hands-on engineering, testing, validation, or troubleshooting experienceExperience with MATLAB and/or PythonFamiliarity with PCB troubleshooting, schematics, and lab instrumentationStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsSelf-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentSomeone hands-on, curious, proactive, and naturally inclined toward building/tinkeringNice to HaveMedical device or technology manufacturing experienceAcoustic testing or ultrasound exposureCAD modeling / 3D printing experienceISO 9001 / ISO 13485 familiarityFirmware or embedded systems exposureWhy This Opportunity Stands OutStrong growth potential — previous engineer promoted internally in ~1.5 yearsWork on cutting-edge ultrasound and acoustic technologiesHighly visible role with real ownership and impactCollaborative small-team engineering environmentOpportunity to improve and scale testing processes from the ground up
