The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting mechanical components and products according to provided specifications. Preference will be given to candidates with experience or knowledge in electrical/electronics assembly. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and a keen eye for detail.\nResponsibilities\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to understand assembly requirements.\nAssemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to provided specifications and assembly procedures.\nUtilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to accurately assemble and fit components.\nConduct quality checks and inspections to ensure that assembled products meet quality standards.\nIdentify and resolve any assembly issues or discrepancies that may arise during the assembly process.\nFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, and properly handle and store tools and equipment.\nContribute to process improvement initiatives by providing suggestions for enhancing assembly procedures or optimizing productivity.\nComplete assembly tasks within specified timelines and meet production goals.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical/electronics assembly is preferred.\nProven experience as a mechanical assembler or similar role in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.\nKnowledge of mechanical assembly techniques, procedures, and best practices.\nFamiliarity with electrical and electronics assembly tasks, such as wiring, soldering, and component installation.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.\nAttention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements and inspections.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.\nGood communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.\nKnowledge of workplace safety practices and the ability to adhere to safety guidelines.\nPhysical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy objects.\nAdditional Requirements\nWilling to work extended hours and weekends if needed\nRate: starting at $18/hour\nCulture:\nWe embrace challenges and strive to make the impossible possible each day.
