Its fundamental mission is to champion innovation and excellence in teaching, research, creative production, and service.\nRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nTypically 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, program administration, strategic planning, project management, or a related field.\nCompetencies Required Demonstrated experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a highly collaborative environment.\nExperience preparing reports, presentations, and executive-level communications.\nAbility to foster a welcoming and respectful work environment for people from all types of backgrounds\nDesirable Qualifications Master's degree.\nExperience working in academic affairs, faculty affairs, or central administration within higher education.\nExperience supporting executive leaders and managing institution-wide initiatives.\nKnowledge of University of Iowa policies, procedures, and organizational structure.\nExperience with strategic planning, assessment, and performance measurement.\nSupervisory experience.\nDevelopment and implementation of strategic objectives.\nHigh-level communication with university leadership and external stakeholders.\nManagement of multiple concurrent projects with broad institutional impact.\nJob openings are posted for a minimum of 7 calendar days and may be removed from posting and filled any time after the original posting period has ended.
