In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and user-friendly digital experiences across Garmin's web, mobile, and application platforms. Working within established standards and in collaboration with creative, UX, and development teams, this position translates designs into responsive, interactive solutions while building expertise in front-end development, accessibility, and user experience best practices.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nEssential Functions\n\nExecutes designs provided by UX/UI and Creative teams\nBuilds responsive pages and components\nResponsible for learning Garmin's systems and standards\nPerforms testing and quality assurance on web accessible code and commands\nReceives guidance and feedback from senior developers\nQualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor's Degree in Interactive Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Web Development or related field AND a minimum of 2 years of relevant web development experience\nDemonstrates skills in CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript\nExperience with cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility\nComfort with browser-based developer debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools\nExperience writing web accessible (A11y) code that meets WCAG guidelines\nFamiliarity with command-line interfaces and terminal applications for executing development-related commands\nExperience working with version control and Git repositories (e.g., Bitbucket)\nFamiliarity with code editing and development tools such as Visual Studio Code or Sublime Text\nFamiliarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React\nFamiliarity with package managers such as Yarn or NPM\nProficiency working with PC and Mac and experience with Adobe Creative Suite\nCompletes assigned work within established standards\nResolves routine issues with guidance when needed\nContributes effectively within a team environment\nApplies established standards, processes, and best practices\nContributes to code quality, documentation, and continuous improvement\n\nGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
