Cyber Security Technology (CST) is responsible for cyber security innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support. This role, as an individual contributor is responsible for delivering best-in-class technology solutions in Identity and Authentication domain. A strong candidate for this role will demonstrate past performance of delivering innovative products. A candidate for this position should be able to demonstrate strong proficiency in area of expertise and complex problem-solving skills. They should have a strong understanding of current development practices, and they should demonstrate a history of ownership to accomplish outcomes.Primary Level of Engagement: Works as a "senior developer" under minimum supervision from a senior domain expert. Primary Interactions: Product Owner, Business Owner, Scrum Master, Development Team, Architect, Testing, Release Train EngineerKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and be accountable for feature delivery.Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality.Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.Responsible for compliance and security items and audit support.Act as a liaison for production activities/issues.Participate in work breakdown and execution.Play a team member role, as an individual contributor.Mentor other team members whenever required.Participate in planning & estimation, peer reviews and other engineering practices.Identify skill and role gaps, and work with Technology Manager to address them.Participate in creating resource contingency plans where required.Oversee detailed execution of assigned deliverable at every level - Requirements gathering, technical design, build and quality assurance.Required SkillsBachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in building large scale Java applications.Strong skills in design and developing robust REST API and Micro Services. Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot.Strong hands-on experience in Identity & Authentication technologies including OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, FIDO/WebAuthn, PKI, and LDAP. Working knowledge of digital credentials and digital wallet.Extensive knowledge and experience working with SQL, Stored Procedures, and Oracle DB data replication and performance tuning.Experience in building solutions using cloud-based services. Familiarity with cloud security.Working experience in remediating application security vulnerabilities, CVEs.Skilled in using CI/CD tool set (JIRA/Bitbucket/Jenkins/Artifactory/Ansible)Proficiency in development in Unix/Linux environmentProficiency developing in container-based architecture.Experience in UI development with React or similar framework.Self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to lead large & complex tasks including product upgrades and deployment of new capabilities and enhancements.Ability to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment where business needs/priorities may change.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with containerization, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker.Experience integrating with AI/LLM models into Java applications using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
