In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the guidance of experienced electricians, foremen, and project leaders. This position provides hands-on training and valuable field experience while supporting commercial, industrial, and residential electrical projects.\nThe ideal candidate is eager to learn, committed to safety, and ready to develop the technical and professional skills necessary for a successful career in the electrical trade.\nAs an Electrical Apprentice, you will:\nAssist with the installation of electrical raceways, wiring, fixtures, equipment, and devices.\nPull wire, mount panels, and assist with electrical terminations.\nSupport journeymen electricians and foremen with daily project tasks.\nFollow all work instructions, company policies, and safety procedures.\nProperly use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and company-provided safety gear.\nRead and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and work orders.\nMeasure, cut, bend, and install conduit using hand and power tools.\nAssist in troubleshooting electrical systems and performing repairs.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nLoad, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment as needed.\nParticipate in apprenticeship training, educational programs, and skill development opportunities.\nDemonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude on job sites and with customers.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support project success.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent.\nValid Apprentice Electrician License.\nEnrollment in or completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program.\nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.\nReliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned job sites.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious electrical construction or electrical service experience.\nBasic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and components.\nFamiliarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).\nOSHA 10 Certification or willingness to obtain.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nBasic understanding of electrical theory and construction practices.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.\nStrong work ethic and willingness to learn.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work independently with supervision as needed.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nCommitment to maintaining a safe work environment.\nWorking Environment and Physical Requirements\nThis position regularly requires:\nStanding, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods.\nClimbing ladders, scaffolding, and working at heights.\nWorking indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.\nExposure to construction environments, including noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.\nLifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials and equipment up to 75 pounds.\nWorking in confined spaces when necessary.\nOccasional travel to project sites.\nOvertime, weekend, and night work as project schedules require.\nEquipment and Tools Routinely Used\nHand tools including pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and cutters.\nPower tools such as drills, saws, and conduit benders.\nElectrical testing equipment including multimeters and voltage testers.\nMeasuring devices, levels, ladders, and material handling equipment.\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nWhy Join Veracity Electric?\nAt Veracity Electric, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
