Job DetailsDescriptionPosition Summary: The Manager, FP & A is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial planning and analysis functions of Meriplex. The position requires strong financial acumen and the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments to drive financial growth and stability. The Manager, FP & A is also responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial reports and forecasts, and developing strategies to improve financial performance.Key Responsibilities/ DutiesBudgeting and forecasting experience across multiple departments in an organization Drive the financial strategic planning of the company by analyzing performance and potential risks.Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and proactively bring awareness to potential issues.Provide ongoing training and management for finance team.Tailor the corporate finance strategy to manage relationships with partners and investors.Budget accordingly to the needs of each department.Allocate funds for projects and collaborate cross functionally to ensure viability.Develop Meriplex’s annual financial plans and projections.Provide guidance and support to business leaders on financial planning and analysis matters.Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and decision-making.Create budgets that adhere to the requirements of the company’s various departments.Ensure that all auditing and internal control processes are carried out properly.Prepare detailed financial reports on the company’s performance.Ascertain compliance with applicable financial laws and regulations.Recognize patterns in the company’s spending and revenue and making recommendations for resolving any issues.Assist the company in liaising with external financial institutions.Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into business performance. Supports the C-Suite for adhoc analysis for strategic and financial decision making.Responsible for preparing board of director materials for the CFO and materials for other C-Suite members as requested. Maintains company's internal projection and tracking for equity pools performance.Oversee portfolio of acquisition performance, including organic growth targets, synergy tracking and overall health.Responsible for financial data and Corporate KPIs that are reported to executives, board of directors, and external capital providers. Coordinates the collection and monitors the accuracy of Sales, Operational, Human Resources and accounting data that is used to report financial data and corporate KPIs.Oversees the company's corporate performance management software and other tools used to report financial information and corporate KPIs.Tracks and forecasts performance to bank covenants and cash flows, and monitors debt and balance sheet health to assess financial risk.Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts and ensure high-quality work output.Work collaboratively with other departments to drive financial growth and stability.Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And BehaviorsWell-versed in financial, accounting, economic, and banking principles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelingStrong analytical and logic skills.Superior critical thinking and problem solving abilities.Ability to analyze numbers, recognize patterns, and perform calculations with ease.Ability to communicate cross-functionally within the organization.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Education/ Experience Bachelor’s degree Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field preferred. 8+ years of finance experience.Certifications CFA,CPA, and/or CTP is a plus.Physical DemandsSedentary Work – Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
