And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.THE WORKLM is seeking a talented Systems Engineering Associate Mgr with a Secret clearance to work from our Sunnyvale, CA location.We are seeking a dedicated leader to provide strategic leadership and daily operational oversight for the Flight Operations Support (FOS) Configuration Management team.This leader will supervise a core group of direct reports and collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders, including product developers, integration and project engineers, system test personnel, Readiness team members, Mission Engineering specialists, the FOS Operations Integration Engineering (OIE) team, payload subcontractors, ground software developers, and systems administrators. The primary responsibility is mission success: ensuring effective configuration management of all products under development, delivering flight ready products to the operational element on schedule, and achieving zero defects. In addition, the manager will drive quality, cost, schedule, and risk mitigation activities across the entire product life cycle.Specific Duties Include Employee management and planning: employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, salary, recognition and disciplinary actions. Establish FOS CM IPT priorities and work assignments Develop and maintain a technical competency of Ground Network, Software, and Equipment Architecture, cyber and security requirements to facilitate effective design, execution and communication of Configuration Management processes. Ensure FOS mission success by providing oversight for quality, cost and schedule. Coordinate FOS CM deliveries with external IPTs.
