Warehouse-Systems Analyst Senior

Job SummaryThe incumbent ensures the smooth functioning of the network setup within the facility, plans, coordinates, and implements various IT/IS requirements in consultation with overseas advisors. The role also oversees and maintains SAP performance for operations, making necessary system changes to support efficient warehouse operations.Job ResponsibilitiesSpecify information flows, processes, and procedures, data objects, and dialogues between information systems and their users.Construct, modify, test, and correct simple program modules from detailed specifications.Interpret and execute defined test plans of limited scope; install fully tested software in target environments.Troubleshoot basic hardware and software problems.Undertake and document all work in accordance with agreed standards and prescribed methods and tools.Conduct daily system checks to ensure optimal SAP performance and SPICS/LIMS connectivity for smooth operations.Act as liaison with the client's IT group and CFT group on SPICS/LIMS issues, resolving them.Conduct on-the-job IT training for employees with no prior knowledge or skill in performing new tasks.Handle testing in SAP Quality and testing environments for new RLC implementations.Receive, resolve, and respond to client/customer correspondence on system issues.Monitor and resolve PI/MQ logs for inbound and outbound failure issues and item updates.Investigate and resolve SPICS/LIMS discrepancies during daily availability runs.Serve as first point of contact for operations on any system-related issues.Maintain RF guns, printers, and PCs, ensuring Neovia standards for purchasing, setup, and maintenance are followed.Maintain and develop VBA access databases for operations when required.Assist the inbound and outbound team with daily operational tasks as necessary.Ensure information systems confidentiality by securing shared folders, implementing a clear-desk and clear-screen policy, and adhering to global IT/IS security standards.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for operations and RLC.Create, support, and maintain transport department databases and SAP queries.Support the global ITFS/network team on switches, routers, access points, and wireless controllers for failures and alarms.QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent education or experience (minimum three years). Preferably with proficiency in SAP.Experience with basic warehouse operations and systems is preferred but not required.Conversant with LAN/WAN, hardware configurations of PCs, common software packages, and network setups.Good written and spoken communication skills in English.Physical RequirementsWork is primarily sedentary.
