Job Description Opportunity for crane and hoist drafting professional.Crane and hoist system experience a plus.Eager individual looking for a solid career level opportunity to join a thriving and growing organization.Working remote is acceptable with opportunities to relocate to SC as an option.Drafting ResponsibilitiesProperly annotate drawings using AWS D1.1 weld symbols and other standardized symbols to clearly communicate fabrication and assembly requirements.Generate assembly drawings, detailed shop drawings, and part drawings.Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) to accurately define all components of designed equipment.Review and verify design accuracy prior to release to manufacturing and installation teams.Collaborate with engineering, and installation teams to support turnkey project execution.Work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Loop, and Outlook for documentation and communication.Demonstrate strong organizational skills, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively.Assist with design reviews and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, manufacturability, and installation performance .Participate in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during fabrication or installation .Drafting Skills and Experience2-5 years of experience in mechanical design, drafting, or related manufacturing environment.Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, 3D modeling a plus but not required.Strong organizational and time management skills.Effective communication skills.Strong understanding of engineering principles, mechanical assemblies, welding practices, and structural components .
