Manager, International Communications
Inspire Brands is seeking a Manager, International Communications, to serve as a strategic communications partner to our international business which oversees more than 10,000 locations outside the U.S. This role sits at the intersection of corporate communications, internal communications, and global business strategy, supporting a rapidly expanding international portfolio of iconic brands.This position is a balance between internal and external communications, requiring a communicator who can seamlessly operate across both disciplines, shaping how we engage team members and franchisees, while also elevating Inspire’s reputation externally across global markets.The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and understands how communications drives business outcomes, from alignment and engagement to media positioning and market expansion.This position is an onsite 80% role at the Atlanta Global Support Center.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate & External CommunicationsOwn and execute international corporate communications strategy, elevating Inspire’s and our brands across global markets and stakeholder groups (media, franchisees/licensees, partners, and consumers)Develop and lead proactive storytelling and earned media strategies that highlight international growth, development momentum, market launches, and brand innovationSupport high-impact initiatives including new market entries, development agreements, new restaurant openings, partnerships, and product/platform launchesShape and approve core external materials including press releases, Q&As, talking points, spokesperson briefs, and reactive statementsServe as a trusted advisor to the international leadership team for media engagements, speaking opportunities, and high-visibility momentsLead communications planning for major milestones and global initiatives, balancing long-term strategy with real-time responsivenessCollaborate with international franchisee marketing/PR/ agency teams, setting strategy, priorities, and performance expectationsSupport issues management and crisis communications, working with the Inspire brand reputation team to protect the reputation of Inspire and our brands across global marketsDrive external visibility through a modern mix of channels including earned media, executive platforms, and corporate social (e.g., LinkedIn)Internal & Franchisee Communications Develop and lead comprehensive internal communications strategies aligned to business priorities, international growth, and enterprise initiativesTranslate complex business strategies into clear, compelling, and actionable communications for employees, franchisees, and other international stakeholdersCreate high-impact content, including executive messaging, leadership communications, and enterprise updates.Partner closely with International leadership to shape how they communicate, elevating clarity, tone, and effectiveness across audiencesLead communications for key moments including organizational changes, strategic initiatives, town halls, and franchise conventionsExecute and evolve internal communications channels and programs (e.g., newsletters, email, events) to maximize reach and engagement across a global workforceEstablish and track communications metrics, using insights to continuously improve effectiveness and impactEnsure communications are developed with a global and culturally relevant mindset, resonating across diverse markets and audiencesStrategic Advisory & Cross-Functional LeadershipServe as a trusted communications advisor to the International Leadership Team, providing counsel on messaging, positioning, and stakeholder engagementTranslate the company and leadership strategy into durable communications frameworks executed consistently across marketsPartner cross-functionally with Marketing, Communications, Operations, Development, Legal and Brand teams to ensure aligned, integrated communicationsProactively identify opportunities where communications can drive greater alignment, engagement, or business impactRepresent communications strategy and performance in leadership forums and cross-functional settingsMaintain and evolve communications best practices, frameworks, and standards across the international organizationLeverage data, insights, and emerging tools to improve communications effectiveness, including AI-enabled content creation and workflow optimizationQualifications6+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, internal communications, or integrated communications4 year degree and/or Bachelor's in Communications or related fieldExperience supporting global or multi-market organizations strongly preferredProven ability to operate across both internal and external communications disciplinesExperience working in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholdersBackground in restaurant, retail, hospitality, franchising, or consumer brands is a plusRequired Knowledge, Skills, Or AbilitiesInternal & Corporate Communications Execution - Strong writing and editing skills, with experience developing clear, engaging communications for both internal (employees, franchisees) and external audiencesExecutive Communications Support - Ability to draft and refine messaging for senior leaders, including talking points, presentations, and key announcementsProject Management & Campaign Execution - Proven ability to manage multiple communications initiatives simultaneously, coordinating timelines, stakeholders, and deliverablesCross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management - Ability to work effectively across teams and build strong relationships to align messaging and executionMeasurement & Continuous Improvement - Familiarity with tracking communications effectiveness and applying insights to improve performance over
