change parts, or perform other machinery maintenance.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform preventive maintenance as scheduled.\nClean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.\nDismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.\nInspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.\nInstall, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.\nLubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.\nParticipate in action planning process\nTrack/record time and all repair parts using work orders & maintenance management system\nDetermine if a part is repairable and pass it on to maintenance analyst to get repaired\nReassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.\nStart machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.\nInstall equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.\nCollaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.\nFollows basic blueprints, specifications or verbal instructions and plans the intended location of wiring and equipment.\nMeasure, cut, assemble and install electrical wiring, stripping, splicing and soldering as necessary.\nAttaches cables and wiring to the incoming electrical service and to various fixtures and machines that use electricity.\nPerform basic adjustments and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components\nSet up, operate, and tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies.\nAll other duties assigned by supervisor.\nClean workstation and surrounding areas making sure it is clean and free of debris.\nSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nPrefer high school diploma/GED\n2 Years maintenance experience\nUnderstand and follow oral or written instructions issued by supervisors\nAbility to exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously over time\nAbility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs\nAbility to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to determine causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.\nAbility to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure a machine is working properly\nAbility to work well as part of a team\nAbility to complete production tallies, downtime tallies and daily reports as required\nPossess excellent reasoning and mathematical skills\nPossess knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance\nAbility to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization\nSAFETY\nFollow all area/machine center specific safety regulations\nWear all required personal protective equipment: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc…as required\nDo not enter restricted areas\nReport immediately to supervisor any equipment that is unsafe or functioning improperly\nRequest assistance when a task exceeds individual knowledge\nVisually inspect equipment and area before starting/operating\nWhenever possible, eliminate unsafe conditions as soon as possible\nUse Standard Lockout Procedures when
