In this role, you will architect and manage robust CI/CD pipelines and automate cloud infrastructure to accelerate software delivery. As a senior lead, you will bridge the gap between Development and IT Operations—driving initiatives that enhance system reliability, security, and scalability across the enterprise. You will also take end-to-end ownership of features, architecting and developing solutions that span from a Django back-end to our React front-end. You will act as a contributor to the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and maintenance.\r\nThis position is based in San Diego, CA with the ability to work a hybrid schedule and may require travel up to 10% of the time. An active Secret Clearance will be required to perform this work, so US Citizenship is a requirement.\r\nResponsibilities Design and implement automated end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, repeatable, and secure code deployments.\r\nOptimize build and release workflows to reduce lead time for changes and improve Time to Production metrics.\r\nStandardize branching strategies and version control best practices across multiple development squads.\r\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC) & Cloud Operations Architect and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC tools.\r\nMonitor and tune system performance, ensuring high availability and proactive resolution of infrastructure bottlenecks.\r\nManage containerization strategies to ensure environment parity from development to production.\r\nSecurity & Compliance (DevSecOps) Integrate security scanning (SAST/DAST) and automated compliance checks directly into the delivery pipeline.\r\nEnsure adherence to DoD security standards, including STIG compliance and RMF (Risk Management Framework) requirements.\r\nFull-Stack Development Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code using the Django framework.\r\nDevelop robust, scalable RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework to support the front-end application.\r\nImplement new user-facing features and build reusable components using React.js.\r\nTranslate UI/UX prototypes and wireframes from a JupyterLab environment into high-performance, production-grade code.\r\nDesign and manage database schemas and data models for our application (e.g., using PostgreSQL).\r\nEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the full application stack.\r\nWork within our container-based development workflow using OCI tools like Podman, Buildah, and Skopeo in a Linux environment.\r\nWrite clean, well-documented code for both the front-end and back-end, and participate actively in peer code reviews.\r\nQualifications Active security clearance or ability to obtain one; US or Naturalized Citizenship required.\r\nCompTIA Security+ (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).\r\n6+ years of DevOps experience, including: Containerization (Docker, Podman, Buildah).\r\nContainer Orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm).\r\nCI/CD automation tools (GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build).\r\nInfrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).\r\nLinux systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).\r\nAutomation and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).\r\n5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing both front-end and back-end projects.\r\nFront-End development (React.js, Django Rest Framework).\r\nProficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).\r\nExperience designing and building RESTful APIs.\r\nExperience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling.\r\nProficiency in implementing structured and effective logging for application monitoring and diagnostics.\r\nDesired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent.\r\nDemonstrated experience with: Cloud computing infrastructure or development (AWS, Microsoft Azure).\r\nFull-stack software development (Java, .NET, JavaScript, SQL).\r\nUtilizing Atlassian suite or equivalent (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).\r\nSecurity+ Certification.\r\nEEO Statement TIAG is an equal opportunity employer and federal contractor or subcontractor.
