Our clean and air conditioned facility is located in Fraser, Michigan. The hourly range will depend on experience. Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who can independently set up and operate CNC lathes to precise tolerances and specifications. This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes to produce parts of varying complexity. Interpret computer-generated setup sheets and blueprints to determine proper tooling, fixtures, feeds, speeds, and machining sequences. Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges) to inspect and verify part dimensions. Perform routine machine maintenance and monitor tool wear; replace tools and inserts as needed. Make offset adjustments to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy. Edit and proofread CNC programs; sharpen tools as required. Maintain high standards of quality while meeting production goals and deadlines. Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment. Uphold company policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. Cross-train on various machines and processes to support team flexibility. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications: Minimum 4-5years of experience in precision CNC machining. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions. Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes. Demonstrated experience in full setup and operation of CNC lathes. Familiarity with Fanuc Oi, Fanuc 21i, Haas, and Okuma controls is highly desirable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
