As a member of the Production Team, assemblers are a key component to ensuring IPL customer satisfaction by following all safety, quality, and production requirements at or above standards.\nThe Phoenix site is one of the manufacturing sites for IPL’s Large Format and Retail Packaging (LF&R) business in the United States. LF&R is a growing segment, with annual revenue of approximately $200m and significant growth potential, and is part of the Environmental, Returnable and Industrial Solutions (ERIS) Division of IPL.\nPosition Title: Injection Molding Assembler\nLocation: Phoenix, Arizona\nShift: C Shift (12 hour rotating Night Shift) 6:00p.m to 6:30a.m.\nWhat you will bring to the role:\nA reliable, dependable candidate who will bring a team player mindset with the ability to work autonomously as needed.\nEssential experience and skills:\nAbility to adhere to company policies and procedures, giving top priority attention to safety regulations.\nAbility to review and understand work orders, following or exceeding all safety, quality, and production standards.\nAbility to assemble product parts in accordance with verbal and/or written instructions.\nAbility to perform quality checks and notify appropriate personnel of discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.\nAbility to stack product to prepare for packaging and shipment.\nAbility to enter data into electronic information systems via touch screen interface.\nAbility to maintain general housekeeping of the production area.\nAssist Floor personnel as needed.\nAbility to read, write, comprehend written materials, and perform basic math functions required\nExperience working in manufacturing environment not required but is preferred.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, preferred.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nThe successful candidate will:\nStanding on cement flooring up to 8 hours or more per day, in air-conditioned environment\nFrequent lifting of between 10 lbs. and 30 lbs.\nOccasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.\nAbility to use basic hand tools.\nAbility to wear personal protective equipment (cotton gloves, Kevlar gloves, hearing protection, eye protection, etc.) in accordance with PPE guidelines.\nFrequent reaching and stretching\nRepetitive motion for prolonged periods of time is likely.\nWork area may have fluorescent lighting.\nModerate to loud noise level – hearing protection is required.\nFast-paced environment: subject to numerous priority changes and short-notice activity\nRequired to work with/around rubber, latex, and/or silicone during normal job duties\nIPL is a global leading sustainable packaging solutions provider that manufactures specialty rigid packaging products used in the food, consumer, agricultural, logistics and environmental markets.
