Morning shift during training 30 - 90 days.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand controls (valves, piping, start/stop switches, timers) and operation of Cleaning SystemsPerform exterior washes on trucks and trailersPerform interior cleans to bare metal cleanDisassemble and reassemble internal and external valvesClean hoses and product pumpsComplete trailer preps per customer requestProperly collect and label heels from trailersUse Wash System to complete wash tickets per customer requirementsEnter tanks to clean trailers in compliance with the Confined Space Entry PolicyUse Flare and CAS Air Treatment System during the washIdentify Maintenance issues with Cleaning Equipment and report to the SupervisorComply with environmental regulations; Air Permit, Discharge Permit, and Do Not Clean listOperate yard truck and forklift equipmentPossesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the company Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policiesQualificationsMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to work in variable weather conditionsMust be able to work on uneven and/or slippery surfacesAbility to read and comprehend standard procedures and practicesKnowledge of proper procedures for handling and disposal of hazardous waste materialsHigh-pressure wash system may create noisy conditions in certain work areasPhysical activity will be required when handling cleaning equipment, i.e. spinners, hoses, pumps, drummed cleaning products, and product residue (up to 50 lbs.)Hazardous chemicals are used in both manual and mechanical cleaning processes.
