We have played a role in the construction of some of the world’s most famous highways, dams, airfields, mines, quarries, and even national monuments.\n\nAmerican Made since 1882\nAbout the Role:\n• Operation and Control — Controlling operations of equipment or systems\nOperation Monitoring — watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine are working properly.\nQuality Control Analysis — Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.\nMonitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.\nControlling Machines and Processes — using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes (not including computers or vehicles).\nGetting Information — observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.\nHandling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things\nWatch - operating equipment to detect malfunction\nInspect Drill Steel Rods to ensure process is complete.\nGrinding – Individual parts on a grinding wheel\nIn lieu of the above, any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the aforementioned knowledge, abilities, and skills may be considered at the Company’s discretion.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nProven experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.\nFamiliarity with hand tools and grinding equipment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTechnical certification in machining or a related field.\nExperience with CNC machines and programming.\nKnowledge of quality control processes and standards.\nResponsibilities:\nOperate grinding machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications.\nDeburr and trim metal components using hand tools and CNC machines.\nRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.\nUtilize precision measuring tools, such as micrometers, to ensure accuracy in dimensions.\nCollaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues.\nSkills:\nThe required skills for this position, such as deburring and precision measuring, are utilized daily to ensure that all metal components meet the necessary specifications. Proficiency with hand tools and table saws is essential for trimming and shaping materials accurately. The ability to read blueprints is crucial, as it allows the grinder to understand the exact requirements for each project. Experience with CNC machines enhances efficiency and precision in the manufacturing process.
