DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper/ Office Manager to join our growing team in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, and maintaining accurate accounting records. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the medical device industry.Responsibilities:- Process payroll for U.S.-based employees, ensuring adherence to federal and Texas regulations.- Maintain detailed employee payroll records, including updates for new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.- Calculate and remit payroll withholdings such as federal taxes while managing year-end reporting requirements.- Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and reconciliation.- Conduct bank account and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities, including reporting and budgeting.- Manage inventory accounting for clinical trial materials, collaborating with internal teams for audits and reporting.- Ensure compliance with financial policies and assist with internal and external audits.- Provide administrative support, including document management and coordination of office supplies.- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Requirements - Proven experience in financial administration, payroll processing, or accounting.- Familiarity with U.S. payroll regulations, with knowledge of Texas-specific requirements being a plus.- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial operations.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.- Proficiency in bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.- Experience with clinical inventory accounting or similar tasks is preferred.- Working knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
