{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"fa2f7e87dbf8daefa87d5313","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/fa2f7e87dbf8daefa87d5313","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/fa2f7e87dbf8daefa87d5313","title":"Quality Assurance Engineer","description":"Company Overview\nMaster Machine LLC. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Quality Team in implementation of quality assurance programmatic requirements for nuclear, DoE, DoD, and AS9100/ISO9001 projects.\nThis position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.\nResponsibilities:\nEnsuring quality requirements are maintained to meet MMI QA Program and Customer requirements.\nPre-job review of Customer purchase orders, work travelers, procedures, repair/replacement plans, machining instructions, welding documents, drawings, QAP’s, and other project and quality-related documents.\nIn-process review of testing and inspection work travelers.\nSupport receiving inspection of Customer parts and consumables, including maintaining QA controlled inventory.\nReviewing and verifying dispositions to anomaly reports, including placement and removal of hold tags.\nSupporting internal and external audits.\nVerifying that all work performed at MMI is according to Customer requirements, procedures, and purchase order / contract agreements.\nPerforming assigned QA witness / hold points as identified in work travelers.\nPerforming compilation and pre-shipment reviews of data packages.\nInterfacing with Customers and the Authorized Nuclear Inspector (ANI).\nInspection oversight of in-process welding, machining, NDT, and other inspection processes.\nAssisting quality team to ensure controlled documents / current revisions are up to date.\nAssist in review of internal calibration records and subcontracted calibration services.\nTemporary assignment to other activities/duties as needed to support the business.\nFlexible hours to meet emergent Customer needs.\nRequirements:\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience in quality assurance system / department.\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience in welding symbols, codes and standards interpretation.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate quality and technical requirements.\nKnowledge and experience in NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, and ANSI N45.2, quality requirements. ASME BPVC Section VIII, ASME BPVC Section III experience a plus.\nAWS CWI certification is desired.\nASNT-TC-1A Level II VT and PT is desired.\nExperience implementing quality assurance programmatic controls in a growing business.\nMinimum 2 years’ inspection experience in a mechanical or electrical discipline is desired.\nMinimum 2 years’ experience with knowledge and practical experience working with nuclear QA codes and standards is desired.\nMachinist/Fabricator experience is a plus.\nBachelor’s degree or related experience in technical field is desired.\nNuclear commercial grade dedication experience is a plus.\nExperience in aerospace (AS 9100) QMS quality department may be substituted depending on type of experience and qualifications.\nPhysical Requirements:\nHeavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.\nWalking, Standing, Reaching, Stooping, Crouching, Climbing\nMaster Machine LLC. is a privately owned and operated business primarily focused in the nuclear industry.
