That's why our technicians enjoy a long weekend in more than 85% of their workweeks, along with company-paid benefits, a company vehicle, and fully covered continuing education.\nIf you're an experienced fire and security technician who takes pride in clean, code-compliant installations and dependable, high-performing systems, we'd like to meet you.\nWhat You'll Do Install, program, service, and maintain commercial fire alarms, burglar alarms, access control systems, video surveillance systems, and structured cabling.\nTroubleshoot life-safety and security systems accurately and efficiently.\nRead and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and project documentation.\nRun conduit, pull cable, terminate devices, and complete clean, professional installations.\nEnsure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and company expectations.\nPerform inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and system repairs.\nMaintain accurate service records and project documentation.\nPartner with our Client Experience Team to provide responsive, customer-first service.\nRepresent Solid Security | Technology with professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.\nWhat You Bring At least three years of experience with commercial low-voltage, security, or fire-alarm systems.\nExperience with DMP, Fire-Lite, Silent-Knight, Resideo Vista or comparable systems.\nExperience with Hanwha, Axis or other IP surveillance components and video management systems.\nESA, BICSI, ASIS, CompTIA, NICET certification, or active progress toward certification.\nFamiliarity with NFPA inspection and testing procedures.\nStrong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.\nA clean driving record and professional presentation.\nA high school diploma or GED.\nA commitment to safe, neat, and code-compliant work.\nPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.\nAbility to climb and work from ladders.\nComfort working in varied environments, including rooftops, attics, and mechanical rooms.\nAbility to perform the physical duties associated with commercial installation and service work.\nWhy Join Solid Security?
