Provides advice and guidance in interpreting and adapting quality standards and government regulations. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards are in place. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires a review of identifiable factors.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nImplement software quality engineering activities on UAS programs.\nEngage directly with programs as specified in program plans and contract documents.\nReview software engineering deliverables and artifacts for compliance to the contract, program plans, and the Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and instructions.\nIdentify software process or product non-conformances; initiate appropriate corrective action; monitor, and verify effectiveness of corrective action.\nContribute to metrics collection and analysis.\nSupport proposal reviews and quality estimates.\nPrepare statistical reports and technical documents in support of company objectives and quality plans.\nFacilitate and implement interdepartmental process improvements and ensure processes align with our QMS.\nSupport QMS initiatives and conduct internal QMS audits.\n\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\nJob Qualifications\nTypically requires a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related discipline and six or more years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or four or more years with a master's degree.
