NeoPath Health, Inc., a Minnesota based administrator of workplace medical services, is in search of a PRN Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for Minneapolis Area Clinics.Position SummaryThe NP/PA will work as needed in a clinical setting. The practitioner will provide general and preventive care; wellness exams, treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, order lab tests and prescribe medications to children and adults.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical care of patients includingAssessmentDiagnosis/treatment of illnessOrdering and interpreting medical diagnosticsChronic disease management and Wellness carePrescribing of medications, treatments, therapy, medical equipment, etc.Follow established safety and health measuresDevelop and Implement treatment plansPromote health and wellnessEducate patients and families on self-care to ensure positive long-term patient outcomesOversight of onsite CLIA waived labDispense prepackaged medications onsiteRefer to outside providers as neededPresent on various related health topics upon requestProvide clinical leadershipQualificationsUnrestricted Nursing License to practice in MinnesotaFamily Practice or Advanced Practice Nurse Certification by ANCC or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programMinnesota Prescriptive authority and DEA licensureBLS certification; ACLS suggestedMust be comfortable working independentlyNeoPath Health, Inc. conveniently delivers personalized healthcare via onsite clinics in partnership with middle market employers.
