The Co-Op/Intern will support engineering, including both sustaining engineering and new product activities. The Co-op/Intern works quarter to quarter on a wide variety of projects.Essential Functions Of The PositionWrite and debug professional level software in the language assigned Ability to switch between multiple software languages rapidly Design and build prototypes Review, test, and iterate concepts Conduct product development reviews and presentations Conduct testing, following guidelines described in the AtriCure Quality System Perform research for engineering as assigned by a supervisor Responsible for supporting engineering activities and other company functions as assigned by supervisor Document all work in compliance with AtriCure Quality System requirements & corporate policies Basic QualificationsCurrently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Computer ScienceHigh School diplomaDesire to initiate an engineering career in futureAvailability in Fall 2026 for ~40 hours per week onsite in Minnetonka, MNOther RequirementsAbility to regularly walk, sit, or stand as requiredAbility to occasionally bend and push/pullAbility to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift over 25 poundsAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check5% travel possibilityAtriCure participates in the federal E-Verify program to confirm the identity of and employment authorization of all newly hired employees.
