Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Always collaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset.\r\nAs a Python Developer at Endava you will have participate in the activities of designing, building and documenting enterprise solutions including test development to ensure service delivery meets expectations. You will provide development expertise for back-end systems from design to build.\r\nThis role is available on a full-time employment contract (UoP) and requires the willingness to work from our office in Kraków, Warsaw or Gdansk.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesigns, estimates, and implements technical solutions for medium/high complexity applications.\r\nParticipates actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle.\r\nCollaborates with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.\r\nProposes improvements and escalates risks/issues related to development activities.\r\nParticipates in the review of the work done by development team members.\r\nLearns and applies new technologies, practices, and tools as appropriate to the project.\r\nParticipates in internal and external tech communities, events, etc.\r\nShares experience and knowledge gained from projects.\r\nQualifications\r\n5+ years of experience in software development using Python as programming language.\r\nExperience working in Capital Markets, or the broader Financial Services industry is required. Strong understanding of different common programing paradigms (OOP, Functional, etc.).\r\nStrong familiarity with design/architectural patterns and clean code principles (e.g. SOLID, GoF, MVVM).\r\nExperienced in relevant frameworks and tools such as Django REST, Flask or FastAPI, PyCharm, Jupyter Notebook or Visual Studio Code. Nice to have: Pytest, NumPy, pandas, TensorFlow.\r\nPractical experience in platform specific database systems and SQL.\r\nGood understanding of version control systems like Git or similar.\r\nSolid experience with testing and mocking frameworks.\r\nFamiliar with common communication protocols and standards such as HTTP, REST, JSON, TCP/IP and others.\r\nExperience with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, KANBAN).\r\nKnowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.\r\nGood knowledge and working experience with at least one of the cloud platforms AWS, Azure or GCP.\r\nGood problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.\r\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\r\nAdditional Information\r\n\"For this position, the minimum gross base salary is PLN 19,276 per month (full-time employment contract).
