Job Coach, Youth Summer Job Program (Temporary)

Job Summary:Plays a pivotal role in guiding young participants with visual impairments through their summer employment, helping them develop professional skills, and ensuring a rewarding and educational work experience. This is a temporary summer position.Duties/Responsibilities:Provides individualized support and coaching to program participantsMonitors and evaluates participants' daily work progress, offering constructive feedback and guidanceCollaborates with employers to ensure a positive experience for both participants and businessesAddress any issues or challenges that arise during the program and provide solutionsMaintain accurate records of participants' progress and program activitiesEncourage and support participants in developing professional networks and connectionEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Social Work, Human Resources) or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in coaching, mentoring, or working with youth in a professional settingRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to motivate and inspire young peopleExcellent organizational and time-management skillsKnowledge of job search strategies and career development
