The position requires experience with chromatography techniques, analytical instrumentation, and compendial requirements used in regulated laboratory environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPerform chemical and analytical testing of samples in accordance with established procedures and specifications.\nOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical laboratory equipment, including HPLC, UV, IR, and related instrumentation.\nExecute analytical methods and interpret test results.\nUse chromatography data systems, including Empower, for data acquisition and reporting.\nSupport laboratory investigations, method execution, and problem-solving activities.\nMaintain accurate laboratory documentation and comply with applicable procedures and data integrity requirements.\nFollow applicable pharmacopeial standards, including USP and EP requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support laboratory and business objectives.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nBachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry.\nThree (3) to five (5) years of relevant laboratory experience.\nHands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, UV spectrophotometry, IR spectrophotometry, and other analytical laboratory equipment.\nWorking knowledge of chromatography principles and techniques.\nExperience using Empower chromatography software.\nKnowledge of USP, EP, and related pharmacopeial requirements.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.\n\nPreferred Qualification\n\nChemist license.\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nChromatography\nEmpower software\nHPLC operation and troubleshooting\nUV spectroscopy\nIR spectroscopy\nAnalytical testing\nUSP and EP standards\nLaboratory documentation\n\nAt Validation & Engineering Group, people always come first.
