A definitive 1-hour initial Zoom interview with partners can lead directly to a final lunch meeting and offer.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a robust caseload of complex civil and business litigation matters from inception through resolution or trial.Draft high-level pleadings, motions, and comprehensive briefs.Conduct and defend depositions of key witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives.Formulate strategic case evaluations and provide clear, risk-adjusted counsel to clients.Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings (prior first-chair experience is preferred but not required; a desire to go to trial is essential).QualificationsExperience: 5+ years of civil or commercial litigation experience.Licensure: Active, good standing membership with the State Bar of California.Skills: Exceptional legal research, reasoning, and written advocacy skills. Ability to independently move cases forward proactively.Location: Local to the Los Angeles area. This position operates on a preferred 3-4 day hybrid schedule, with remote possibilities for local candidates.Application Requirement: Candidates must be able to provide 2 unredacted writing samples with their name on them when asked (publicly filed briefs preferred).Salary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $180,000 - $230,000.
