The Aquatic Center includes a community pool, an Olympic-sized competition pool, outdoor splash pad, dynamic fitness room, outdoor track and so much more. It has become a local hub of sports tourism by hosting elite-level regional and national Aquatics and Track events.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nSafely instruct client or team through an effective training session\n\nProvide quality customer service to all clients and participants, regardless of skill level, appearance, or otherwise\n\nEnsure client safety\n\nCommunicate effectively with the supervisor through phone, email, or in person\n\nEnforce all program policies and procedures as it pertains to the sport development program\n\nEnforce all building policies and procedures and assist as needed during emergencies\n\nAttend all sport instructor and all-department staff meetings, including necessary meetings and trainings\n\nSafely instruct effective, creative sport practices or private lessons\n\nOther duties as required\n\nRequirements\n\nPossess current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications\n\nLeadership and supervisory abilities\n\nEntrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm\n\nExcellent organizational, written and interpersonal communication skills\n\nAbility to work independently\n\nKnowledge of standard practices in recreational sports\n\nAbility to thrive in an environment that values high expectations, accountability, and balanced lifestyles\n\nProficiency with sport knowledge and coaching techniques\n\nProficient with developing plan for continued growth in athletes’ skills\n\nHuman Relations\n\nInternal contacts include staff at all levels.
